November 17-23
NYC Jewelry Week 2025 TJL @ Maison 10
We’re so excited to be part of NYC Jewelry Week once again. This year we’ll be in “residence” upstairs at Maison 10 @ 4 West 29th Street, just down the street from our original space. Maison 10 is our longtime favorite Nomad gallery, boutique, and community hot spot—helmed by our dear friends, Henri Myers and Tom Blackie—a place that radiates warmth, welcome, and whimsy and is, among all the things, our go-to spot for the best gifts. (You’ll see!)

Come Jewelry Week, take the steps up to the Maison 10 mezzanine where TJL will have two wonderful exhibitions on view: Kristin Beeler’s The Sin Eaters and Jeannette Knigge’s Performing Identity, along with a mini TJL space for browsing, hanging out, and meet-ups...

Our chockablock week opens Monday, November 17th at 10:00am, with a triple feature—Elena Karpilova’s talk Lost and Found in Migration, followed by a reception for both The Sin Eaters and Performing Identity.
Tuesday, November 18th at 12:00pm, we’ll chat with Maria Nevelson and get an intimate peek into her grandmother Louise Nevelson’s jewelry box.
Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00am, Art Jewelry Forum will host a talk on Shaping Museum Jewelry Collections, and that afternoon, Anna Rasche gives an encore “Walking Tour” of the Nomad neighborhood’s Gilded Age jewelry stores and stories.
Thursday, November 20th at 10:00am, join Kristin Beeler and Wendy Steiner for Pearls of Empathy: A Conversation. Then, meet the authors at our Book Signing Bonanza with Rizzoli—showcasing some of the best jewelry books of the season!
Friday, November 21st at 10:00am, Jennifer Altmann will talk with Melanie Bilenker, Aaron Decker, and Myra Mimlitsch-Gray about their Greatest Mistake
And don’t miss the ongoing Identity Café! Does your jewelry tell a story? Is your jewelry a mask or a mirror? Stop by Monday, Tuesday, or Friday for a lively jewelry chat with Jeannette Knigge.

After you visit us, head to Quartet at Biba Schutz’s studio around the corner (1220 Broadway) to view recent work by Kathleen Browne, Steve Ford, Mary Hallam Pearse, and Biba, and for individual artist talks Tuesday–Friday.
And if you’re hungry, grab a cacio e pepe slice (our favorite!) at Upside Pizza or venture down the street to OL’DAYS, a perfect spot for brunch or lunch. There’s Paloma for coffee in the Fellow Barber space, and if you’re a serious tea drinker, don’t miss the Jin Yun Fu Tea Shop right across the parking lot from Maison 10.
For dinner, there are lots of fine dining choices at the hotels—Zaytinya at the Ritz Carlton, Everdene at the Virgin, and Cecconi’s at The Ned—but we love Lola’s on 28th Street for Chef Suzanne Cupp’s delicious cuisine and her inspiring jewelry story! (Ask the bartender for the tale of the jade bracelet framed in a photo behind the bar…)
Finally, it’s been an honor to collaborate with NYCJW founder Bella Neyman on Vintage Style + Stories: Costume Jewelry Reimagined, which will be on view in the Pratt Institute Brooklyn Library. Join us on Monday, November 17th at 5:00pm for the opening and Emili Vesilind’s In Costume panel.
