The Scoop Jewelry Stories (and Ice Cream)

We’re bringing back The Scoop in October and we’re looking for storytellers!

Jewelry has been a tool for storytelling for centuries—stories of love, loss, friendship, family, identity, connection, community, and empowerment that attest to jewelry’s enduring power. These stories help us to reflect, connect, cope with uncertainty, and even spur us to action! 

If you have a jewelry story you’ve been thinking about, we’ll be hosting a workshop with storyteller Beth Heller on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:00pm. A family heirloom? A lost watch? A friendship bracelet? Come prepared with ideas or with a 4-6 minute story. Not sure where your story is going? Don’t have an ending? No problem. Each participant will be able to share their story and get feedback from others in the group.
